A Valve disponibilizou durante a madrugada de hoje mais uma actualização para o Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, trazendo alterações profundas ao Vertigo e mexidas no Train e Deagle.

Resultado do update que antecedeu a este, a Deagle tornou-se alvo de polémica pela eficácia que recebeu após saltos, mesmo que o jogador ainda estivesse no ar – para tentar colmatar esse facto, um novo parâmetro de ineficácia no salto foi adicionado para a pistola com um valor de 331.55.

Entre pequenas correções e alguns Music Kit Box adicionados, a Valve introduziu a possibilidade de ver a crosshair que outros jogadores estão a utilizar e copiar a mesma se for do agrado, começando a fazer um teste com a adição de Arenas 1vs1 no Warmup, presentes para já apenas no Wingman para o Train e Vertigo.

A nível de mapas, o Anubis, Chlorine e Jungle também foram alvo de alterações mas as atenções focam-se no Train e Vertigo (mapas da rotação competitiva), com o segundo a gerar novamente uma abordagem agressiva por parte dos Devs.

Enquanto que o Train as mudanças passaram por novos modelos de colisão nos caixotes do lixo distribuídos pelo mapa, nova localização para os pombos do Ivy e algumas melhorias de visibilidade e de movimentação na escada do B, o Vertigo viu practicamente metade do mapa ser alterado novamente.

No bombsite A, a parede de madeira em cima da rampa foi alterada para uma versão metálica, reduzindo o dano de wallbang – já no Bombsite B e meio, existem novas possibilidades após as alterações efetuadas, sendo as mesmas visíveis na thread de Twitter anexada do utilizador Don Haci.

— Flipped railings on stairs to site, to allow jump up from sandbag position

Train:

— Moved pigeons that sometimes spawned near Ivy, no longer visible from CT side of ivy
